Agreed. We have over indulged ourselves in technology to the point where we can't function with out it. Social skills have diminished because of digital communication (ie: IM and texting). When was the last time you saw people in businesses today continue working when the computer network goes down. They don't. We are so unproductive without technology. "Oh, I can't work because my computer is down!" It is ridiculous! I was at the mall recently and noticed about 8 kids hanging out together in the food court; where they talking to each other? Maybe...through texting each other. They were standing around texting other people, not saying a word to each other. I saw a family at a restaurant, mom was on the phone, both kids where texting their friends and dad was sitting there eating waiting for some conversation from his family! Sad!! Technology is destroying the human race because we have no self control anymore. We are letting it destroy us and we don't even realize it because we are to caught up in our own "gotta have it now" lives. Sometimes I wish we would go back to simpler times. I know, "be careful what you wish for."
